Frank Lampard on Eden Hazard
Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has opened up on the possible departure of Eden Hazard from Chelsea, with Real Madrid being the expected destination. Hazard has been linked to the Galacticos for a year now and this summer might be the end of the saga.
And according to Lampard, Hazard is one of the best players in the world and thinks that the signs point towards the Belgian leaving the club if he wishes to. He also added that 7 years with the Blues has made him one of the best players in the history of the team.
As a result, Lampard thinks that it would be a huge blow for Chelsea if the former Lille star decides to leave London but also reiterated that the player’s desire should be understood , which is why Hazard has the support of Lampard regardless of the decision the Belgian makes.
It depends on Abramovich
Former Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood believes that the decision to let Eden Hazard go to Madrid solely rests on the shoulders of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich. Sherwood stated that since Abramovich has a lot of money, it would be difficult for Hazard to make the decision.
He also added that should Abramovich not want the Belgian to leave, he can stop him from doing so. However, it might not be the right to do and Sherwood thinks that the tycoon would allow the former Lille star to move like a nice gentleman.

Koulibaly deal almost done
Kalidou Koulibaly is not only one of the best defenders in the world but also a highly coveted center-back. A plethora of clubs have been linked with the Senegalese over the last year and none more than Manchester United.
And now, according to journalist Andy Goldstein, the towering defender could be a Manchester United star by the end of the summer transfer window.
Meanwhile, speaking of Manchester United, while Koulibaly is linked with a move to the Red Devils, Paul Pogba is being touted with a move out. According to reports from Spain, Real Madrid are willing to pay €140 million for the Frenchman, who has also been linked to Barcelona.
The report further adds that the offer might be convenient for United.
The Coutinho conundrum
Philippe Coutinho became one of the best players in the Premier League during his time at Liverpool. He was the heart of the system at Anfield but his career seems to have taken a hit ever since he moved away from the Merseyside outfit.
Barcelona signed him for a mammoth fee and while he did have a good start with the Blaugrana, things have gone awry this season. As a result, he has been linked with a move out of the Catalan club.
A lot of clubs have been interested but there are two that stand out: Atletico Madrid and Chelsea.
Barcelona want to sign Antoine Griezmann from the Rojiblancos and want to use Philippe Coutinho as a sweetener but Diego Simeone doesn’t want him.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are interested in the former Liverpool star and would make a €140 million move for him if their transfer ban is lifted.
